🌍 Инструкция для переводчиков 7th Sea на Weblate

Добро пожаловать в проект перевода 7th Sea! Мы работаем над некоммерческим переводом книги, используя платформу Weblate. Весь текст разбит на 10 частей в формате .xliff — каждая часть соответствует отдельной секции книги.

📂 Формат и структура

  • Исходный материал представлен в виде .xliff-файлов, разделённых по частям книги.
  • Каждый файл содержит отдельные строки с оригинальным текстом и полем для перевода.
  • Перевод осуществляется непосредственно в интерфейсе Weblate, строка за строкой.

🔄 Как участвовать?

Вы можете выбрать один из двух способов помочь проекту:

✍️ Перевод новых секций

  1. Найдите непереведённые строки в одном из .xliff-файлов.
  2. Внесите литературный и точный перевод.
  3. Сохраняйте форматирование, теги и переменные (<i>, {}, %s, и т.п.).
  4. Используйте официальный глоссарий — [ссылка на словарь].

🛠️ Редактирование и корректура

  1. Перейдите к уже переведённой секции.
  2. Проверьте стиль, орфографию, пунктуацию и терминологию.
  3. Вносите правки при необходимости, добавляя комментарии.
  4. Помечайте строки как Needs review, если они требуют дополнительной проверки.

📌 Правила перевода

  • Перевод должен быть литературным, а не дословным.
  • Соблюдайте терминологическую согласованность (см. глоссарий).
  • Не переводите технические конструкции и переменные (%1$s, {item}, и т.д.).
  • При сомнении — оставьте строку пустой или добавьте комментарий.
  • Перед переводом механик, разберитесь в том как и зачем они работают! Делайте пометки в переводах о контексте той или иной механики.
  • Оставляйте xliff - тэги в тексте, там же где они находятся в оригинале.

Роль Описание
Переводчик Вносит первичный перевод строк.
Корректор Проверяет орфографию, пунктуацию, грамматику.
Редактор Правит стиль и адаптацию текста, делает перевод живым и литературным.
Верстальщик Отвечает за экспорт и сборку итоговых документов.

Getting up to the balcony isn’t too difficult, since the place was clearly designed for appearances and not security, but it’s not a cakewalk. Once you’re on the balcony, picking the lock is child’s play, and you slip through the doorway and into a dark room on the inside of the Vodacce Embassy. Nobody has noticed your intrusion yet, but you do see a light shining from under a nearby doorway, and you can hear muffled voices behind it. What do you do?

Miranda: I want to get inside. I’ll slip over the fence and scale the wall up to a second floor balcony, then pick the lock there to get inside. Instead of spending a Raise for that, can I spend a Hero Point to use my Second Story Work Advantage? It lets me infiltrate a secure area.

I’ll tell him that if he doesn’t tell me everything he knows about what happened at that meeting, I’ll make sure the Ambassador finds out exactly who is doing all the talking about his private meetings.
